At higher temperatures, the light output decreases, the light source\u2019s lifespan is shortened, and the driver or electronic control unit may completely fail. In environments with extreme heat, standard lighting therefore performs structurally poorly.<\/p>\n<p>The problem lies in the thermal load on the components. Near the hot steel, the temperature rises to +120 \u00b0C, the steel radiates infrared light and the composition of the air is aggressive. During the inventory, it was found that the lighting could be not only more economical but also better in some places. Therefore, instead of replacing the lighting in one place one by one, additional light was installed where it demonstrably improved the working environment. Near the work area, 100 lux is achieved with a uniformity of up to 0.55.<\/p>\n<p>The visibility around a hot process depends not only on the light level at commissioning, but especially on whether that level remains stable.
