From a 2,300-lumen work light on a machine to 308,000 lumens from a high mast, and everything in between: in a crane boom, on a ship's deck, along a process line, against a facade. We build for weight, impact resistance, corrosion, heat, and light pollution, not for the highest lumen count.
Two brands complement each other: DCbright for rugged industrial fixtures that can withstand rough handling, and DarkLicht for full-cut-off solutions where glare and stray light are not permitted. If you already know what you’re looking for, select an option below.
Most questions do not start with a product name. They start with a machine, an environment, or a requirement from a specification. All three routes lead to the same overview.
Work light for close-up lighting on the machine, floodlight for a work zone or area, area light for powerful light without glare.
A crane, a terminal, a ship, or a factory. For each sector, the article describes which lighting fixtures are used there and why.
Heat up to +120 degrees, permanent salt load or a permit condition against light pollution. That often determines the execution, not the luminaire.
One list instead of separate blocks per category. Filter by product group and compare directly on output, power, protection, and weight. The product name takes you to the full specifications. The three building-mounted luminaires are listed separately below.

All stated values are maximum values of the standard version; multiple wattages, light colors, and beam angles are available per luminaire. All datasheets can be found at data sheets.
You choose the luminaires above based on beam and mounting position: on a machine, in a crane boom, on a ship's deck, on a mast, or on a frame. These three are fixed to the structure itself, and then the choice is first about the design: a light line along a process line, a flat area in a canopy, a flat luminaire against the facade. Linear and Manta are also available as HT version up to +120 °C.
Cast fixture in four lengths, for a light line along a machine or process line.
For canopies and ceilings, surface-mounted and recessed, with a retrofit version for the CREE 304.
Flush against the facade, full cut-off, for entrances, walkways, and loading zones at the property line.
We are the European engineering, distribution, and application partner for both brands. They deliberately do not overlap: the difference lies in what the environment of the luminaire requires.
Robust and efficient fixtures that can take a beating: cast aluminum with less than 0.08 percent copper, titanium-based e-coating, IP69K, and IK10. For mining, cranes, offshore, and heavy industry, where downtime directly costs money.
Full cut-off luminaires with patented reflector technology: the light source lies deep within the luminaire, and the light is sharply cut off. For work near residences, roads, railways, or nature reserves, and wherever permits set boundaries.
More about the partnership: DCbright in DarkLicht. Regarding our construction quality: quality and warranty.
Our standard range is C5-classified and therefore suitable for most industrial outdoor environments. Three situations require more than that.
For steel mills, furnace zones, drying processes, and environmental chambers, where conventional lighting falls short thermally. HT versions feature additional thermal protections, tempered glass, and a remote driver outside the hot zone.
For marine, offshore, and chemical environments where corrosion determines lifespan. Fully 316L stainless steel versions with a 20-year housing warranty, or quantum sealed for chemical exposure.
For work near homes, roads, railways, or nature reserves, and where the NSVV Light Pollution guideline or a permit condition requires full shielding. Supported by calculation and reporting upon request.
Some applications require a complete project solution. For this, we supply systems in which the frame, bracket, and luminaire are matched to each other.
Universal and stackable frame with powerful floodlights, for safe working light at height without blinding the operator.
Self-stabilizing suspension that keeps the luminaire level in the boom, so that the beam remains aimed at the work zone at every boom stage. For bulk and port cranes and luffing jibs.
Tiltable modules, driver box and in-cab controls. What crane manufacturers supply from the factory, now also available as a retrofit on an existing mobile crane.
For temporary and project-based illumination of larger areas. Available as a DarkSky-certified version with full cut-off fixtures.
Mast and luminaire form a single structure: mast height, luminaire load, windage area, and foundation are calculated together. Up to 20 meters according to EN 40, above that on a project basis according to the Eurocode.
Then the product does not exist yet. We design the execution for your construction: mounting, optics, power supply, and control. This ranges from a customized bracket or light color to a completely new luminaire, and is supported by a lighting calculation before anything is made.
The questions most frequently asked before a choice is made.

A work light provides local and direct working light close to the application. A floodlight illuminates a larger work zone or bridges a greater distance. A floodlight panel delivers powerful yet controlled light on larger surfaces or from masts, actively limiting stray light and glare.
No. The combination of light output, beam pattern, mounting position, and application determines the result, not the lumen count alone. A narrow beam of 30,000 lumens can provide more usable light at a distance than a wide beam of 80,000 lumens, and vice versa.
The choice depends on working distance, mounting height, operator's viewing direction, environment, desired beam spread, and whether robustness or glare reduction is a higher priority. We substantiate this with a lighting calculation: number of luminaires, positioning, and expected illumination levels in lux.
In particular, the work lights, supplemented with compact floodlights such as the Marlin or Snapper when a longer range is needed, or with DarkLicht models when glare affecting the driver or the surrounding area must be minimized. The DC versions connect directly to the 24V vehicle electrical system.
For this purpose, DarkLicht floodlights are generally a better choice than standard floodlights: they illuminate large areas without sending light into the sky. At work sites such as mines or temporary construction sites, however, floodlights mounted on a mobile light tower are a proven choice.
They indicate the extent to which a luminaire is resistant to water and dust (IP) and mechanical impact (IK). IP69K means resistant to high-pressure and steam-jet cleaning; IK10 is the highest impact resistance class. In environments with impact or intensive cleaning, these are strict selection criteria.
Our standard product range is C5-classified and therefore suitable for most industrial outdoor environments. For permanent salt exposure, offshore and intensive cleaning environments, we supply 316L stainless steel versions, and for process environments up to +120 degrees, the HT line with remote drivers.
As soon as work takes place near colleagues, traffic, buildings, or homes, or when a permit or the NSVV Light Nuisance guideline sets limits. Undirected spill light is then not only a nuisance but also unsafe; full cut-off keeps the light within the work zone.
Yes. We create a project-based lighting calculation in a simulation program, in accordance with the NSVV code of conduct, including the number of luminaires, positioning, and expected lighting levels in lux. The calculation is free of charge.
Yes, standard products can be tested without obligation, so you can evaluate whether the solution fits your application. That does not apply to custom solutions.
Yes. For project-specific applications, we tailor the lens angle, voltage version, color temperature, mounting accessory, and material choice to the technical constraints and the environment. For series production, we do this based on the machine architecture.
Standard 5 years on all luminaires, for heavy industrial use. The 316L stainless steel line comes with up to 20 years of warranty on the housing. Extended warranty arrangements are possible for projects; we determine the exact conditions per request.
That is exactly what we are here for. Tell us the application, the mounting position, and the environment, and together we will determine the luminaire, the beam angle, and the version. If in doubt, we will make a lighting calculation, or send a test luminaire.
Your request will be reviewed by our team. We will respond within 1 business day.
