The compact professional work light: 2,300 lumens from 18 W, for smaller mounting positions on machines and vehicles.
The smallest of the line, 112 × 70 × 60 mm and 1.1 kg, but with the same build quality as its big brothers: cast aluminum, Deutsch connector in the housing, and the same four lens optics. For positions where a larger lamp does not fit or is not needed.

The compact entry-level model of the work lamp family: professional work light where space is limited, or where a larger lamp is simply not needed.
The Goby Mini is not intended for every task. Being clear about the limits yields a better final result.
The Goby Mini is available in a single DC version, kept deliberately simple. Anyone looking for more output, AC, or maximum robustness can move up within the same family.
2,300 lm at 18 W
The only version, deliberately simple: 9–32 VDC, integrated Deutsch connector in the housing, four lens optics and the same build quality as the rest of the family.
GODC01
4,600 – 8,200 lm
The same family in four power outputs up to 8,200 lumens, plus a high-temperature version up to +120 °C. The step up when more output is needed.
GODC03 through GODC07
4,800 lm at 30 W
Just as compact, but with full cut-off reflector optics: the glare-free alternative when people are working within the light field.
DRKM01
Five work lights, with increasing output. The right choice depends on the machine's requirements: size, durability, or glare-free work lighting.

The Goby Mini does not have an external driver: the drivers are mounted on the circuit board, and the luminaire connects directly to the vehicle's electrical system via the Deutsch connector.
DC, direct on 12 and 24 V vehicle electrical systems
at 24 V · 1.5 A at 12 V
up to +50 °C ambient temperature
German two-pole, in the housing
The DC drivers are mounted on the circuit board inside the molded luminaire itself. This means there is no driver enclosure, no additional wiring, and no second mounting point: connecting it requires just one click on the DTP04 connector.
The fuse rating and wire gauge are determined by the vehicle's electrical system and current draw; for verification, we provide a lighting advice and installation calculation.
The same four lens optics as the large Goby, on a compact scale. An optic name is not a measurement value: the 14° optic measures 13°. If you are in doubt between two angles, we will substantiate the choice with a free lighting calculation.
Driving light for distance, 20 to 80 m
The most chosen angle, 8 to 30 m
Wide working range close up, up to 15 m
Asymmetrical, along boom, roadway or quay
| Optics | Beam angle 50 % | Veldhoek 10 % | Application distance |
|---|---|---|---|
| 14° spot | 13° | see diagram | 20 to 80 m, measured on the DCB9 optics |
| 38° | nominal 38° | see diagram | 8 to 30 m, the standard choice |
| 69° | 69° nominal | see diagram | up to 15 m, wide close up |
| 14° × 46° flare | asymmetric | see diagram | elongated zones, combinations possible |
The beam angle is the full angle between the directions in which the intensity has decreased to 50 % of the peak; the field angle is 10 %. The upward light output is 0 % at 0° tilt. Combinations of optics within a single luminaire are possible.
On machines and vehicles, the connection determines just as well as the bracket or a work light whether it will reach its lifespan. The Goby Mini is therefore designed around the Deutsch connector: no cable, no junction box, no cable gland.
The two-pole connector sits directly in the casting: connection is one click on the on-board network, without a cable, junction box, or cable gland as a source of failure.
High tensile strength stainless steel bracket, infinitely adjustable within the range. Even when the machine vibrates, the bundle remains in place.
From 14° spot to the asymmetrical 14° × 46° flare: the same optics family as the large Goby, selectable per position.
112 × 70 × 60 mm and 1.1 kg: fits entry areas, mirror frames, and service points where a larger lamp cannot.
A fall protection cable is optionally available and is often a strict requirement when installed above a work area. The DRB-1 driver box houses the remote driver and is mounted directly behind the luminaire using the rear mount bracket. The Crane Light Stabilizer has its own product page. For tower cranes see also Tower crane lighting.

Where the Goby Mini is installed in practice, and why there.
On service vehicles, access areas, and workstations around the machine: reliable work lighting in positions where every centimeter counts.
As an additional working light on booms, frames, and cabs, alongside the larger work lights of the family.
On tractors and off-road vehicles, the 12-volt on-board network counts: the Goby Mini connects directly to it with 1.5 A.
As entry and ambient lighting on mining and earthmoving equipment, in the same corrosion class as the main lights.
With the Goby Mini, “compact” is not synonymous with “lightweight”: it features the same cast aluminum with less than 0.08 % of copper, the same titanium e-coating, and the same IP69K and IK10 ratings as the rest of the family.
That sets it apart from generic small work lights: it offers the same service life of over 360,000 hours (L90B05), the same optics, and the same connector, all in the smallest size in the line.

The same family DNA in a smaller casting: 112 × 70 × 60 mm and 1.1 kg versus 120 × 141 × 79 mm and 1.8 kg. The Mini delivers 2,300 lumens from 18 W; the Goby is available in four power ratings up to 8,200 lumens. The optics, connector, coating, and protection ratings are identical.
Yes. The voltage range is 9 to 32 VDC, so both 12- and 24-volt systems are supported: approximately 1.5 A at 12 V and 0.8 A at 24 V. The drivers are on the circuit board; there is no external driver.
The Deutsch DTP04 is the standard in vehicle and machine construction: waterproof, vibration-resistant, and can be mounted without a junction box or cable gland. Because the connector is integrated into the casting, there is no cable that can be damaged; connecting is just one click on the vehicle's electrical system.
The 38° is the standard choice for nearby work surfaces. The 14° spot (measured at 13°) bridges distance, the 69° provides wide illumination, and the 14° × 46° flare casts an asymmetrical beam. It uses the same family of optics as the large Goby; we recommend selecting based on the mounting position.
Dimming requires customization because the drivers on the circuit board supply a constant current. Switching by group can be done via the vehicle electrical system.
Yes. The luminaire has been tested to IP66, IP67, IP68, and IP69K. All of these classes are mentioned because they are different tests: IP69K is high-pressure and high-temperature steam jet, IP68 is immersion. One does not imply the other.
Yes. The vibration class is 6 G at resonance, tested in accordance with IEC 60068-2-6, with shock testing in accordance with IEC 60068-2-27. The housing is a single casting and the 316L bracket clamps infinitely within −60° to +30°.
Yes. The housing contains less than 0.08 % copper and has a 2-layer titanium-based e-coating; the bracket is 316L. This corresponds to corrosion class C5 Industrial and Maritime. If all-stainless-steel construction is a requirement, consider the Piranha 316L.
The 360,000 hours is a TM-21 L90B05 value: at that point, at least 95 % of the luminaires will still be delivering at least 90 % of their initial light output. This is more stringent than the standard L70 and L80 specifications.
No. The luminaire is not intended for hazardous areas. If ATEX is a requirement, please discuss this in advance, and we will determine a suitable solution together.
Yes. With the connector in the housing, the wide voltage range, and the compact casting, the Mini is built for integration into machine building. For series production, we tailor the optics, color temperature, and mounting to the machine architecture.
